About Nevada Wild

Discover individual and curated art celebrating Nevada's natural and cultural heritage. Curators Susanne and Gary Reese have been organizing and promoting group shows and providing artists with spaces to exhibit since 2000.

Beginning in 2006, they were owners of two successful art galleries in Henderson's Water Street District. From 1999 to 2013, Gary was an adjunct Photography Instructor in the Department of Media Technologies at the College of Southern Nevada. He was awarded a Grand Prize and First Place in the 2009 and 2010 Photographic Imaging Education Association international contest.for his faculty portfolios depicting 140-year spans of repeat photography

Susanne has been active in promoting artists across Nevada, writing monthly feature articles in Everything Elko Magazine on exhibits she has curated and biographies of participating artists. For example. she has curated seven annual Nevada Wild mixed media art exhibits at the California Trail Interpretive Center near Elko, Nevada.

Susanne and Gary have extensive stock photography of Nevada and surrounding southwestern US states. Their Nevada photography has been regularly featured in Nevada Magazine, including a Grand Prize and fourteen other awards in the magazine's annual Great Nevada Picture Hunts.
